TRAILER:
"Saudade" was created for TanzLabor in Ballet Hagen and premiered on June 16, 2017, in Hagen, Germany. It was later performed again on August 10, 2017, at the 11th International Ballet Gala in Mato Grosso, Brazil:

Saudade has a face, a name, and a surname. It has a smell and a taste; it possesses color and shape. Saudade embodies the longing for something that never truly ends. It is a void that consumes, a testament to the worth of everything that has transpired. It is the love that remains, representing what lingers from what did not stay. Saudade evokes a feeling of nostalgic longing for something or someone cherished, which has been lost or might have been lost.
Saudade encompasses everything we wished we had done and everything we did. It is when two distant bodies occupy the same space, signifying that, although they may be apart now, they were once together. Those who believe that distance leads to forgetfulness overlook the truth that Saudade compels us to remember.
Saudade is my mother, your father, his family, her lover, their best friends—unconditional love. It is the sensation of longing for Saudade just before the feeling truly hits you. It manifests as a genuine smile, brightly illuminating someone’s face in a moment of goodbye, slowly fading away.
Thus, it is said that the most beautiful tear shed is the one born from Saudade, arising from laughter shared, dreams pursued, and memories that will never fade.
