The longing to reconnect with my childhood. A need to occasionally hold on to the past, to remember where I come from and stay grounded in my essence. To never lose sight of the times when everything felt possible, when every new moment seemed more magical than the last.
That genuine, unwavering belief – I can do it.
The vulnerability in every small gesture, in the face of the present moment. Trusting in the Now, surrendering to it fully, with the understanding that it’s all that exists.
A yearning to reach back to my childhood, with the hope that one day I'll reach the end of the rainbow. A nostalgic desire for everything, yet walking hand in hand with the reality of adulthood.
Alemurity expresses a blend of childhood emotions. It captures that playful feeling of discovery while embodying an adult’s nostalgia for the innocence of being a child. It’s a dark piece where colors come to life in the dancers and the music.
I dedicate this piece to my beloved Granddad, who watched me grow through most of my childhood. Together, we spent many summers, both in my youth and teenage years.
